Splash is a highly disappointing movie from the team of Ron Howard and Tom Hanks. This movie is well directed but badly written, very slow and overlong. Daryl Hannah and John Candy are great fun, but Tom Hanks is just decent. Eugene Levy is also fun. but the film is just not funny and it becomes stale, very fast.
