No substance, Less jokes

I had so many expectations from this third and hopefully not the last installment of the series, but i guess in the end all you can think about is the beginning. There were really so many plots to think about, you could not even put a finger on one. Okay the effects were great whoopee, but what about the story. Even Jack Sparrow character seemed different. You somewhat get the sense that so much of the original formula was changed. If the second installment has laugh meter score of 10, this one would have 5. I guess that's why it did not work for me. It had less jokes and more worthless air time, or in other words at least more than half of its substance is crap.
