Awkward Romance

"Good Dick" is an independent film that follows a video store clerk in his attempts to get a socially troubled woman to fall in love with him. Their relationship begins when the woman goes into the video store to rent several porn movies. At first, their awkward tension brings laughs, but as the movie progresses, the tension only makes me uncomfortable. When they start watching porn together, I feel awkward to just watch them interact. I felt uncomfortable watching the entire movie.
The best part of "Good Dick" was the scenes when the boy was working at the video rental store, but most of the dialogue that goes on during these scenes has nothing to do with the story. These scenes bring plenty of humor to certain situations, but most of it is meaningless and the movie would be fine, if not better, without these scenes.
If you're looking for a good romance flick, don't watch "Good Dick". However, if you're looking for an awkward romance that centers around porn, then feel free, you might like the film.
