A troubled man makes an effort to talk to a woman who repeatedly rents hardcore porn at the video rental store where he works. He turns into part stalker, part healer, as they help each other though their personal issues and deeper troubles that are revealed as the movie plays out. This was alternately watchable and disturbing; the good parts are pretty good, but the main characters are so creepy that you want to call the police on them.
Jason Ritter and Marianna Palka both did good jobs, and it's always nice to see Martin Starr and Charles Durning.
