The Humor Felt Forced Sometimes

This is a pretty good sequel... but I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed because I thought it would be better than the original due to its hilarious trailers. In some ways it is better, in some ways it is not. For instance, since the filmmakers are going for the bigger and grander technique, some of the humour felt forced as opposed to the first. The good thing is that this one is more politically incorrect; they're not as afraid to offend so the material is a bit sharper and more shocking (and hilarious). John Cho and Kal Penn still have that connection that made the first one so good. I especially enjoyed the flashback scenes when the audiences get to learn how Harold and Kumar were like in college. The appearance of Neil Patrick Harris is as priceless as ever because he's just so good at making fun of himself. He's edgy but doesn't become detestable. My favourite scene has got to be the final act when something was recited. Even though it was so nerdy, it was so cute. Hopefully, this installment will do better in the cinema than its predecessor.
