This is terrible. The original version was no classic but this remake propels it upwards. Awful acting from charmless Jesse Metcalfe, mindless and illogical car chases and hopeless directing make you pine for the old Hollywood.
An example of its ineptness: our heroes life depends on a video so what is this backed up on? A memory stick, a flash card or even a mobile? No, a DVD. The story is laughable, though sadly the film isn't, at least not literally.
