Russian film that's being touted as a thriller, even though thrills appear at the same rate as blow jobs in Mary Poppins. The Russian Arctic provides the backdrop to some extremely schematic and irritating behaviour. It's a two-hander plus a sadly fleeting appearance by a bear. The animal momentarily ratchets up the tempo from still life to super slo-mo, but then it's back to the cabin where radioactive Arctic trout is the only dish on the menu.
