Once I realised that all the techno babble meant ‘man goes back in time to try and alter the present’ I was fine. As concepts go they don't come much higher and not only that, this one gets close to the summit. Denzel is great and so are Paula Patton and Jim Cavaziel. There’s a clever have-your-cake-and-eat-it ending too. This is the Tony Scott film for those who normally avoid a Tony Scott. Film. Like me.
