Enjoyable and unpredictable thriller from the burgeoning Korean cinema. It starts out in slasher mode, with some rather messy kidney removals but quickly changes tone - in a good way. Unlike many films of this type, the characters are really fleshed out and sympathetic as a result. What impressed me was that you're never sure what's going to happen next. It has all the elements for a Hollywood remake, ideally with David Cronenberg in the director's chair.
