Warming to Charlie

Sheeny's a bit special in this. Armed only with a beard he saves Earth from an alien invasion. He plays a scientist, so the beard is there to make him look more serious instead of his usual manic self. This doesn't work.
Playing opposite him in every sense is Ron Silver, as smooth as Charlie is ragged. The story, alien manipulated global warming, moves right along. It only gets bogged down when our hero is trapped in an underground cavern that looks like an alien take on London's Tate Modern. It's actually quite fun.
