Saw V review

Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) returns Corbett Denlon (Niamh Wilson), Jeff's daughter to the police. After 2 films then you see the daughter appear which is weird it took that long. I feel she would have starved to death. John leaves a will and mysterious black box to his wife Jill Tuck (Betsy Russell) while Hoffman visits the hospital here detective Perez passes away. Agent Peter Strahm (Scott Patterson) is off the case. There are 5 new test subjects are being tested and one by one they are eliminated for their wrong doings.
The pint of blood and final scene was painful to look at while the devices were innovative. The new director did a better job with the storytelling and script. Screenplay was well planned and examples are from Hoffman’s speech – “Human life is sacred…everyday life should be cherished.” Jigsaw - “Everybody deserves a chance. Killing is distasteful.” “What does matter is time.” Characters was just pathetic and I guess Daniel, the kid from Saw 2 was never found. The gore was tastefully executed at least but the lack of a better plot just slows the film. Saw V is a decent horror flick compared to the rest.
