Saw V review

Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) returns Corbett Denlon (Niamh Wilson), Jeff's daughter to the police. After 2 films then you see the daughter appear which is weird it took that long. I feel she would have starved to death. John leaves a will and mysterious black box to his wife Jill Tuck (Betsy Russell) while Hoffman visits the hospital here detective Perez passes away. Agent Peter Strahm (Scott Patterson) is off the case. There are 5 new test subjects are being tested and one by one they are eliminated for their wrong doings.
The pint of blood and final scene was painful to look at while the devices were innovative. The new director did a better job with the storytelling and script. Screenplay was well planned and examples are from Hoffman’s speech – “Human life …

Review: "Saw V"

"Saw V" is pretty much shows this franchise is running on fumes. The first one was something of a horror gem that relied on suspense and story rather than most of the sequels that thrived on gory death scenes. A lot of people have lost faith in this franchise after "Saw 2", but i still stuck by it because i like twist filled movies and the character of Jigsaw. Sadly, i cant stand by the franchise anymore. "Saw IV" had some things to appricate but fell apart in the ending with a twist that i didnt like. This one picks up from that but offers nothing more than tying up some loose ends from from the past SAW films. We get some new questions but it never goes into them. What we get in result is a pointless sequel thats disguised as a set-up for the hopefully last installment in the …

Game Over

It is truly disappointing to see this franchise demise since the last two films came out. What it was reduce to and how shallow the plot can be is really just an excuse to make more Saw installments. It seems the best plot they can come up to is a real estate deal gone bad. What's interesting about it, (spoilers ahead) now jigsaw finally uses bombs to kill its victims. I mean don't get me wrong, it's the fastest way to kill someone but not in a Saw movie it isn't. It really does remove the pain and torture you can inflict on someone and just blast them off to a million pieces. Now it is hard to like these lame jigsaw puzzles, I really missed the old stuff you know. And after watching 90 minutes of what critics called porn torture, I guess there is still hope of redemption in the next …
