One of the most remarkably silly and unpretentious summer movies of its time, SNAKES ON A PLANE delivers exactly what it promises. SLJ and a cast of familiar 'that guy or girl' character actors play the ridiculously cheesy material with tongue planted firmly in cheek. The kill scenes and deaths are creatively staged. It may be just as stupid as any other more expensive blockbuster. But compared with a lot of them back then and even now, it's a lot of fun.

Purposely non-serious movie that comes out being a good 'bad' flick. Entertaining on it's own silly level.

There is a certain insane B-movie silliness to this film (a movie that is virtually a viral marketing device as a movie) that is entertaining and fun. Samuel L. basically spoofs all other Samuel L. characters and the action is violent and ridiculous. Guilty pleasure, absolutely.

This movie is a big guilty pleasure for me. When a FBI agent who is escorting a witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when an assassin releases hundreds of deadly snakes on a commercial airplane in order to eliminate the witness. The FBI agent, along with a rookie pilot, frightened crew and passengers must then band together in a desperate attempt to survive. This movie is so freaking silly and so stupid that I enjoyed it. Some of the characters in the movie are unlikable or just stupid, The acting is not the best but it's not that terrible. David R. Ellis directing in the movie was okay, but Samuel L. Jackson is easily the best part of this movie, I liked his character and he gived out the best line in the film. "I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this …

"Snakes On A Plane" by Yojimbo

Surely everybody has heard of this one after the blizzard of hype that surrounded it, as Samuel L. Jackson tries to fend off a 747 full of writhing, fanged death planted by a gangland boss to kill a witness against him. The whole concept is absolutely ridiculous but let's face it, that's the whole point. It's basically a creature feature crossed with an airborne disaster movie complete with the usual formula of motley crew of survivors, plucky air hostess, pointy teethed things leaping out at you left, right and centre, and a couple of pilots who might as well have expiration dates stamped on their foreheads. It's the kind of daft tongue in cheek exploitation movie that could've been one of those joke trailers in Grindhouse if it weren't actually real and it lives up to the title. It …

"Wow". That's the feeling I got when I saw this movie. The beginning gives this movie a complete misconception on what this movie is going to be like. First you're like, "cool guns and action" then by the end your like "what the heck?". There were several disappointing things about this movie. First off, I get that it's called "Snakes on a Plane" but can we see a little more then that? The entire time it was: snakes attack people, snakes kill people, people run from snakes, people attack snakes and repeat. But I will say there were good parts to this movie as well. Samuel L. Jackson played an excellent role to the B.A. cop escorting Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips) to his destination. This movie is still good and I'll still recommend it to anyone who wants to see a mindless movie. I give …
