This is the Korean Saving Private Ryan, a film that paints an intimate and moving portrait of two brothers amid the horror of the Korean War. The battle scenes are epic and brutal, but it is the fully-fleshed out portrayal of the love and hate of two brothers that makes the film worth watching. Sometimes a little overly melodramatic with some of the dialogue, but the concluding hour or so is pure, driven emotion.

Also known as ( brotherhood ) in the uk . This is a truely brilliant movie. one of my all time favourites.
The battle scenes are on a epic scale like saving private ryan but the story is far better than that movie with a real human element to it. the acting is also fantastic .
The story is about two brothers during the koreon war who are forced into joining the army to fight the communists. leaving behind their family uncared for and putting there dreams and hopes for the future on hold
Jin-tae Lee has spent his life looking out for this younger brother who they rest their hopes on to gain a education and have the life the family couldn't have. so when they forced to fight the only way he can win his brothers freedom from the army is to win a medal but in doing this he risks his …
