Well valentine day to me as always be my least favorite time of the year. This movie takes place Ten years after a series of horrific murders on Valentine's day, a man returns to his home town, only to be accused of the crime. This movie is stupid just like other horror flicks but the 3-D in this film was alright.

No, I went ahead and said 1 star for this God-awful film for the sake that it had no airs about it, and did not even attempt to be better than its original stated plan which was to be one of the first new films shot in 3-D. However, due to the outrageous writing (which proved that even monkeys on typewriters can get things made in Hollywood now), terrible acting, and predictable directing, I cannot in good conscience say that this was a film worthy of anything important.

First time for everything this one was unmemorable

This was the first ever 3D movie that I ever watched. All in all it was very disappointing the story was so predictable even when it tried to throw the viewers off it failed miserably and I knew who was doing the killing the whole time I mean it was hard not to for the first twenty minutes or so. The actors were all very much forgettable and the killer felt like a very very poor man's version of a cross between Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees circa the New Blood (that would be part 7 in case you were wondering). As for the 3D while there was some decent depth to the picture in some shots all in all it didn't really feel like stuff was leaping out at me from the screen when something was thrown or point directly at the viewer. So all and all a pretty unmemorable experience for my first …

Too Much 3-D

I went to a matinee of this and was the only person in the theatre. That didn't stop me from having a really good time with this very well done horror flick. Yes there is plenty of gore and killings that will satisfy even the most gruesome horror appetites, the only thing that I have to complain about is the fact that the film was in 3-D personally the 3-D took me out of the movie instead of sucking me in. For instance one of the gimmicks was that the killer would throw a pick ax at the screen which would in turn look like it was coming out at the viewer. Well the first time that happened it was cool the next twenty times it got old. But like I said that is my only complaint overall I really enjoyed the film and think that avid horror fans will to.

Review - My Bloody Valentine 3D

Delorted - wrote on 02/01/2009

Is no holiday sacred? We’ve had Christmas horror, April Fool’s Day horror, St. Patrick’s Day horror, we’ve even had Presidents Day horror and Father’s Day horror. And now we have Valentine’s Day Horror. BUT WAIT, this isn’t the first time we’ve had Valentine’s Day horror because this movie is actually a remake.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m talking about My Bloody Valentine, or to rightfully detach it from the original, My Bloody Valentine 3D. It’s your typical slasher flick, where there’s a supposedly dead guy running around in a miner’s outfit killing with a pickaxe people no particular reason. What makes him “special,” a word to be used gently with this film, is that when he kills a pretty woman (if she’s ugly, forget it) he cuts out her heart …

I have never seen one in 3D.  If I see this, it will be my first (besides Imax)

This movie was so freakin awesome!  If you have not seen a 3D movie, this is the one (like the trailer says!).

This will be scary to me.   But it might be fun to watch.  I should take a picture with goggles on.  Or 3D glasses - what ever they are.

As long as I get 3D glasses that is all I care about.  I hope it is full of campy fun.

Oh man, I am so psyched for this flick!  I have never seen a movie in 3D.  I hope it rules.
