A typical serial killer thriller. At this point I don't know if John Cusack and Nicolas Cage are fighting to see who can make the most lame films in a five-year period or what - but this is tepid at best. Not even a nifty little twist as the end could elevate this - though I thought Dallas Roberts was a pretty creepy villain and Mageina Tovah creepier as his "victim". If you don't expect much, it could work for a night with nothing better to watch.
