This movie was great. I loved every bit of it, the insight, the humor, etc. It's a shame James Gandolfini passed away because I could've seen him do a great American remake.

Small town, inhabited by the quirky and disaffected. The template may be US indie but this dodges the cliches and comes up with something different, if not entirely successful. The main attraction is the presence of Stellan Skarsgard who plays the ex con Ulrik. He fills the screen in every sense and in such a manner that you can't imagine the film without him. The other characters are fine and while there are some laughs, there are not enough.
