Bridesmaids from hell!

A quartet of High School buds are brought together by the marriage of 4th member of their crew, Becky, (Rebel Wilson), the least attractive whom the trio viciously called "Pig Face" in high school behind her back. Now hitting thirty, the girlfriends are horrified to be beaten to the altar by the overweight bride-to-be. The alpha leader is Regan, (Kirsten Dunst) the self-absorbed bulimic super-bitch maid of honor known appropriately as the Hannibal Lecter of bridesmaids who has built up resentment towards life for not being able to achieve more (like a husband). Dunst follows up her award winning performance in Melancholia with yet another film revolving around a wedding. And even if this film doesn't involve the impending end of our planet, the wedding and its proceeds prove to be just as disastrous. I tend to have a liking for films dealing with potentially unlikable characters (or Noah Baumbach's entire filmography) and while many may not be able to tolerate these women, damn if they aren't entertaining to watch. For one it has a great cast, along with Dunst, there is the always lovely Lizzy Caplan, finally given a juicy role she deserves and knocks out of the park. Isla Fisher, funny and flighty as always. As well as Adam Scott and James Marsden, the former great, the latter quite one-note. Rebel Wilson, whom I loved in Bridesmaids, is …
