On the night before a key interview, promising medical student Jeff Chang decides to celebrate his 21st birthday with a beer with his two best friends - and things quickly spiral out of control from there. ok this movie is the same thing really I mean in the movie they have a party and it goes wrong just like the hangover 1&2/project x/superbad/and all of the horror movie's.

Eh - typical and lazy male-oriented comedy featuring everything you would expect for a night out: lots of drinking, bodily fluids, profanity but, surprisingly, light on the sexist nudity department. The best part is François Chau, who doesn't have nearly enough screen time (as the deadly serious father). Go watch Miles Teller in The Spectacular Now instead - he will impress you, I promise.

Not one of the best created comedies of the year. The picture revolves around 3 friends: Casey, Jeff and Miller. A cross between The Hangover and American Pie with less humor and horrendous screenplay. The soundtrack was applicable for the generation but the profanities, impossible scenes (how can one have no serious injuries after being dropped off from a window more than 3 storeys’ high) and dull acting. Not sure what they were aiming here, irresponsible party going kids who swear a lot? Not this critic’s cup of tea. Predictable, unlikable characters and not entertaining.

21 and Over is Redundant

I thought this movie was pretty funny, in fact I kind of liked it while I was watching it, but about half way through my first viewing I realized I liked it better when I had seen it before and it was called Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, the second time I saw it and it was called The Hangover and possibly most of all when I saw it and it was called Superbad. The point I’m making here is that this sort of “one crazy night” movie has been done half-way to death.
There are just too many cliché’s. there’s a bromance, just like every other movie of this type and there are crazy parties just like every other movie of this type. Sure the movies I mentioned before like Harold and Kumar and The Hangover have a lot of those cliché things, but at the same time they added …

21 and Over (2013) R Jeff (Justin Chon) is a straight-A college student with a very promising life ahead of him. It’s the night before an important interview with a prestigious medical school, and Jeff just wants to stay at home and sleep. But, his two buddies (Skylar Astin and Miles Teller) convince Jeff to go out to celebrate his birthday. It’s a birthday he will never forget, but only if he survives it. If you think a scene where a person throws up in slow motion while on a spinning mechanical bull is funny, then this film is for you. For most of us, the film will seem long and tedious, as the funny scenes are few and far between. Sarah Wright, playing the love interest is the one character in the film that I liked, but the three main characters are all jerks to each other. …

I will probably wait to hear from others on this movie, or at least wait until DVD. I feel like it will be one of those that tries too hard, and still fails to deliver. I could be wrong though.
