How do you even start to evaluate "Birdman?" It's definitely the weirdest movie on the list of Best Picture winners. It's excellent cast and masterful cinematography make this comedy an original experience.

This movie is the main reason why I watch and why I love movies! This movie talks about everything in life, specially about existence, relationships, parenting, depression, insights, movie critics, personal and professional life... This movie literally is a boost of life.
The characters and the relations shown in the movie are revitalizing. It is filled with great and awesome performances and I should have said this right off the bat that the casting for this movie seemed like it was picked more than cautiously, almost at the edge of perfection.
The gorgeous performances allied with a great script led the characters throughout the whole movie in a fast pace which helped the stile of the movie.
Besides a beautiful and jazzy score, great performances and amazing script, there is one …

"Birdman" by Yojimbo

An ageing Hollywood star battles both his co stars and his own on screen superhero alter ego when trying to find thespian credibility while attempting his own adaptation on the Broadway stage. This is one of those films where the marketing is guilty of very misleading advertising; the trailer makes it look like an off beat superhero comedy, but the fact is that the "Birdman" character is hardly in the film at all. It's really a character study concerning the cult of celebrity, the need for acknowledgement and affirmation and the ever widening generation gap in the internet age. Despite finding fame as a Hollywood action star, Michael Keaton's nicely played protagonist is still riddled with insecurities, especially when dealing with his estranged daughter and his fellow actor Ed Norton …

I'll see it as soon as it expands out here.  The reviews are phenomenal, and it looks like it could be the perfect combination of weird and brilliant.  I'm super stoked!

So much good buzz surrounding this film - plus, it's great to see Michael Keaton back and I'm an unabashed Edward Norton fan as well. Throw in Emma Stone, Naomi Watts and Zach Galifianakis - why not. I have a feeling it will expand some, but you're right - it probably won't get the audience it deserves, but I also have a feeling it could be up for some of the major awards, and then maybe people will find it.

Looking forward to seeing this. as i like norton and keatonits been getting some awesome reviews. but for some reason its only being released in 4 cinemas so far which is crazy. will it go the same way as snowpiercer and blue ruin of being one of the best movies but slide under the radar due to no wide release.i find it so strange great films dont get a wide release.assuming this one is as good as they say that is. but i like the concept and trailor so far
