This was a movie that I got dragged into watching when I was 17. Lets say that I knew enough then about films to know that it wasn't one that I would be giving rave reviews about down at any point in life.
Jeff Bridges is a good actor, although in this movie he was horribly miscast, Streisand directed this movie, and she should have remained behind the camera instead of in front of it. Most directors are smart enough to realize that if they are going to appear in their own film, they take a minor role. Streisand is an attention whore (yeah I don't think much of her) and she always seems to cast herself as a lead.
The film was ok, it really wasn't anything great. Streisand tried to hard to make a classic love story film, and she went about it entirely the wrong way. If you want to see …
