Cop drama which uses the same multi-narrative structure as Crash, though it's right out of the old school of New York acting. It's well made and features hard boiled turns from Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Richard Gere and Wesley Snipes. They keep it real enough, but it's relentlessly downbeat tone makes you wish you were somewhere else. Avatar's Pandora, for example.

A solid cop drama with shads of Training Day but doesn't have the characters or impact of that film. Still, good to see Wesely Snipes alive and well! If you're in the mood for a decent crime drama, I recommend it, just don't expect fireworks.

Also Richard Gere, let's put it this way I know of him but never really watched any of his movies, maybe a few. Because he mostly did chick flicks. I honestly thought he'd be the worse part of the …
