The story and the script was ok in this movie. What I didn't like about this movie is that it failed to bring anything new. It was ok executed and I got nothing to complain about the acting. I am starting to feel that I have had my share of handheld camera action. Everything in this movie you have seen before and you have seen it done better. The only scene that will stick with me from this movie was the one that the director wanted me to remember. But instead of thinking of it as a manifest to how low people can go I think if it as an exploitive attempt to salvage the movie and it fails. The morale is that if you don't have enough money to make a proper movie, delay the project untill you do. Because this just isn't good enough.

Dead On Arrival

I had to pick this up eventually because I have the first film already and I'm a sucker for anything with zombies. This takes the found-footage genre that is so popular and follows a military group (and one straggler) as they attempt to make it to the coast to escape Great Britain. Both story and execution are simply adequate. If you've seen the first film in this series, you know that the people who survived this zombie plague are often worse than the zombies themselves. Once again, we find a group of messed-up survivors who seem to think that rape and murder are just the ticket following the dead rising and wiping out most of humanity. But whereas the first time around it was unexpected, this time it just feels like a cop out. Point is, unless you like zombie movies as much as I do, …
